CAMPAIGN
The mission of the Potomac CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
The Combined Federal Campaign is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. There are over 300 CFC campaigns internationally and across the country which help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) help to support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
Locally, in 2008, the Dahlgren/Fort AP Hill and Quantico CFC Campaigns merged to create the Potomac CFC. The merger was intended to benefit the region by lowering overhead cost, giving donors more options and increasing participation. The result was an increase in donations of 6% from 2007. A total of $990, 358 was raised to further benefit the world that we live in. The 2009 campaign ended with $1,156,112 in donations thanks to the support of all of our donors in the Potomac Region. CFC volunteers have certainly "helped to change the world".Art work to promote the 2009 Potomac CFC is available for download below. All of the art work designed for the Potomac CFC was created by graphic artist, Brett Garner from Dahlgren ATRC.
