CHARITIES

Please note:

In 2008, the Quantico Combined Federal Campaign (#0898) and the Dahlgren/Fort AP Hill Combined Federal Campaign (#0890) formally merged to become the Potomac Combined Federal Campaign (#0898).  Going forward, there will be no further disbursements from either the Quantico or the Dahlgren/Fort AP Hill Combined Federal Campaigns.  For those of you who applied and received funds from the 2008 Potomac Combined Federal Campaign, the first disbursement was made in April 2009.

If you are a representative for a charity that is local, adjacent, or statewide to our Potomac CFC we welcome you as a participant and want to help you maximize the resources available through CFC.

Charities and federations must apply on an annual basis, and new charities are welcome.  Please contact us if you would like to learn more about the application process and to see if your charity may be eligible.

The two most important aspects of charity eligibility are 501(c)(3) status with the IRS and location.  Charities may apply to CFC campaigns if they have an office within the same region that CFC covers, or if they are adjacent, which means they have an office local to a CFC region touching our CFC.  Charities that are considered statewide may apply to any CFC region that covers a piece of their state. OPM has included a CFC map on their website that can be found here if you would like to see which CFC regions you may be eligible to participate in.

If you are currently a Potomac CFC charity, please visit the "Marketing" sub-section to read about ways you can best market your charity to CFC donors.
