VOLUNTEER

Become a Key Worker for your organization!
Key workers create a committee to help with CFC activities based on the size of their staff.  This can bring enthusiasm and efficiency to the campaign.

Include CFC in your staff meetings.
A staff meeting is an opportunity to educate employees on the importance of philanthropyand the services available if they know someone in need. It can also provide them with a forum for asking questions.

Have a charity representative speak to your employees.
The Potomac CFC maintains a list of available charity representatives that will share stories and information, giving  a personal touch to your campaign.

Hand out pledge cards and brochures at staff meetings.
By doing so, the CFC is fresh in their minds when they are given the opportunity to make their decision.

Raise awareness and support for CFC.
Host events for your Federal employees which could serve as valuable team builders.  Some examples are: cook-offs, yard sales, or a drawing for a special parking space.

Encourage fellow staff to volunteer.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved and meet new people!  Share opportunities for individuals or encourage the staff to volunteer as a group on a Saturday.
